Through innovative research, strategic policy advocacy, and capacity-building initiatives, we empower local communities to harness AI responsibly. We invite collaboration with different cross sector professionals to developing AI solutions that improve sectors such as infrastructure, agriculture, healthcare, and education, while ensuring fairness, accountability, and transparency. By fostering local innovation and promoting ethical governance, we aim to create a sustainable AI ecosystem that drives economic growth and protects against long-term risks, securing a brighter, safer future for the region.

At Magenta AI, we are Building a Responsible and Sustainable AI Ecosystem in East Africa
AI Safety East Africa
AI Safety East Africa (AISEA) provides a FREE specialised AI safety program designed for the unique challenges of East Africa. Our curriculum covers both governance and technical tracks, focusing on local AI issues. Participants engage in hands-on projects and receive mentorship to develop practical solutions. Sessions are available in East African languages, including Swahili, ensuring accessibility and fostering a diverse community of AI safety leaders.
Awareness Initiatives
Magenta AI will roll out AI awareness programs to engage schools, universities, and local communities. We are looking for collaborators to help us educate and empower the next generation on AI’s ethical considerations and real-world applications. Join us as we embark on this important journey!
